Mr. Griffin rejoined GMI in 2010 as President of Priority Mechanical Contractors and brings more than 40 years of engineering and construction experience in the multifamily residential and commercial office markets. Previously, as a partner at American Renovators, Mr. Griffin spearheaded this firm’s successful transition from traditional general contracting to focus on design/build community renovations.  Prior to American Renovators, Mr. Griffin was Pepco Energy Services’ Vice President of Commercial Services where he was responsible for the development of their service offerings to the multifamily residential and commercial office markets, including the management and implementation of their central plant management, facility inspection and audit services, energy conservation and utility infrastructure improvements, and full requirements O&M services.  Prior to joining Pepco Energy Services, Mr. Griffin worked at GMI for over 14 years where he performed and supervised various engineering, construction management and apartment renovation offerings for the company and helped develop these services outside of GMI through creation of Priority Mechanical Contractors. Mr. Griffin attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he studied Communication Arts & Design and holds a Second Grade Stationary Engineer’s license from the State of Maryland.
